Financial Analyst - Relocating to Derby

*RELOCATING TO DERBY

We’re hiring a Finance Analyst to join a leading global engineering company within their Manufacturing Business Unit (MBU). This is a 12-month contract based in Derby, offering a fantastic opportunity to work closely with senior finance and business teams in a highly visible role.

*Only people with manufacturing experience will be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support financial reporting, forecasting, and business review processes
• Consolidate actuals & forecasts and prepare MBU inventory provision data
• Lead the MBU forecasting process and provide financial insights
• Partner with business teams to support decision-making and performance analysis
• Assist in governance, planning models, and headcount reviews

Key Requirements:

• +3 years experience as a Finance Analyst with strong business partnering skills
• Strong analytical skills with expertise in reporting and forecasting
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with SAP & Hyperion (desirable)
• Qualified in AAT, Chartered, or Management Accounting (preferred)
• Background in manufacturing and standard costing is a plus

Details:

Location: Hybrid – Derby 3 days per week with remaining days from home

Contract: 12 months

Hours: 37hrs per week

Rate: Up to £472.50/day (Umbrella) | Up to £360.91/day (PAYE)
