Financial Analyst I, Corp Accounts Payable

Amazon is seeking a driven Finance Operations Specialist to contribute to the dynamic world of Global Accounts Payable. Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who will perform the following responsibilities with minimal supervision:

• Participate in UAT/PVT testing for new country launches and entity expansions related to Corporate Accounts Payable, Kuiper, and AWS.
• Support testing for compliance, e-invoicing, project SIMBA invoice ingestion, and DICES support across countries including IN, US, CA, EU, UK, and MEA.
• Own critical programs and collaborate with global stakeholders to ensure efficient problem resolution and timely payments.

A Day in the Life

The successful candidate will have experience in finance operations, relationship management, and process improvement. They should be proactive in addressing issues, identifying improvements, and exceeding expectations. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and risk management skills are essential.

Basic Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience analyzing financial performance indicators (KPIs).
• Over 6 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable.
• Proficiency with Excel, Access, Oracle, Essbase, SQL, and VBA.
• Experience using data analytics to influence business decisions.
• Background in corporate finance, including budgeting, planning, forecasting, and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Over 2 years of experience in continuous improvement projects with measurable results.
• Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
