Financial Analyst - eCommerce

Location: Manchester area (Cheadle) UK

Reports to: Finance Manager - eCommerce

Contract type: Permanent

Your Role & Team in a Nutshell

As a Financial Analyst, you will support Newell's portfolio of brands within the eCommerce channel across EMEA. You'll assist the Finance Manager with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, data analysis, and investment business cases. You will collaborate with sales and marketing stakeholders to help drive P&L delivery and ensure financial controls are met. You'll also collaborate with cluster and regional FP&A teams to provide analysis and insightful commentary on monthly results, budgets, and forecasts.

You will be part of a dynamic finance team of 8 people and contribute to strategic decision-making.

We will help you achieve your goals and develop by providing regular feedback and access to online training courses.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Cluster Financial Timetable of monthly and annual deliverables.
  • Assist in month-end delivery, variance analysis, and ensure timely, high-quality reporting to the FP&A regional team.
  • Contribute to Cluster Forecasting, including pulse/estimate and budget processes.
  • Maintain and support Performance Trackers and KBI dashboards.
  • Support monthly external reporting (Monthly Business Reviews / Country Letters).
  • Provide standardised monthly P&L reporting to Sales Teams.
  • Business Partner DTC and PurePlay channels - drive accountability and support decision-making.
  • Manage Advertising & Promotions tracker and related activities.
  • Conduct ad-hoc commercial analysis (full P&L) and reporting
  • Participate in projects to drive process improvement or capability enhancement.
What You'll Need

Minimum:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Accounting Qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) in progress or finalist (support provided for ongoing training).
  • Demonstrated finance-related experience and analytical capabilities
  • Advanced MS Excel skills and ability to build PowerBI dashboards
