Responsibilities

• Review monthly PPV analysis and identify root causes for price increases above standard costs.
• Assist in calculating Prime Cost for new and existing SKUs; analyze Gross Margin vs Contribution dollars.
• Prepare monthly financial analyses for management.
• Enter items with current standard costs and validate product structures; audit costing quarterly.
• Manage monthly sales order (SO) review sessions and identify root causes for unmet SOs.
• Prepare manufacturing, 3PL, and service fulfillment reports.
• Analyze Freight-In, landed cost, and warehouse costs monthly.
• Support cycle count process with the cycle count team.
• Complete Component Costing sheets required by customers.
• Follow Health and Safety, Good Manufacturing Practices, and Food Safety guidelines.
• Comply with all company policies.

Job purpose

The Finance Analyst is responsible to collect and analyze financial information related to the organization’s expenses, seeking ways to improve accuracy of budgets and forecasts, and to decrease the cost of assigned departments and projects.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Review monthly PPV analysis. Analyze those standard costs that are more than five percent above standard price and determine root cause for price increase.
• Assist in calculating Prime Cost for new and existing SKU’s. Analyze and understand the difference between Gross Margin and Contribution dollars per shift and the impact both have when determining customer price points.
• Prepare monthly financial and analyze for management
• Enter Item along with current standard cost and validate product structure, audit all component costing on a quarterly basis
• Manage monthly SO review session, identifying root cause for SO’s not fulfilled within the trialing period.
• Prepare different manufacturing reports, 3PL reports and service fulfillment reports
• Monthly Analysis of Freight-In Charges vs. Material cost, landed cost and Warehouse cost
• Analyze weekly adjustment report, work closely with cycle count team and assisting them in cycle count process
• Complete Component Costing sheets required by customers
• Perform other assigned duties.
• Follow Health and Safety rules and regulations.
• Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety, and Food Defense guidelines.
• Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
