A multi-national FMCG business are recruiting for a finance analyst to join their team based in London. This is a great opportunity for someone making their first move out of practice to join a growing business with scope to widen your responsibilites over time.

The finance analyst will be responsible for using their analytical mindset to analyse and interpret financial data, then relating it to potential business trends and issues. This candidate will feel comfortable using insights they have discovered to communicate important themes and discoveries to the senior leadership team.

Responsibilities

• Analyse current and past financial data to identify trends and anomolies for further review
• Assist in the preparation of monthly reporting packs
• Take a lead in projects related to the group finance team including system migrations, process improvements and the integration of new acquisitions in to the existing structure
• Work closely with finance leaders across the group / brands to ensure consistent, accurate reporting of data
• Ensure accuracy of foreign exchange rates and update accordingly

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant ideally ACA from a large accounting practice
• Excellent proficiency in using Excel including utilising macros, pivot tables and lookups
• Experience with IBM Planning Analytics would be an advantage
• A keen analytical mindset
