A leading insurtech company in London is seeking a Financial Analyst to enhance finance operations, own reconciliations, and drive automation. Candidates should have at least 12 months' experience in finance, a strong grasp of accounting basics, and proficiency in Excel. The role offers opportunities for growth and is part of a hybrid working model that promotes work-life balance.
At Flock we do insurance very differently. We're nearing 1 billion connected, insured miles. Meaning our real-time, data-driven approach enables us to price connected vehicle insurance and assess risk better than ever before, giving fleet owners the insights they need to improve safety. We don’t just pay claims; we help our customers prevent them. We now insure hundreds of fleets in the UK, including the likes of Amazon, DPD, Uber and Bolt. We've now raised over £50M and our goal is to become the leading insurance company for connected and autonomous vehicles, and we're building a world-class team to help us get there.
We’re looking for a Financial Analyst to own reconciliations, drive automation, and deliver smoother finance operations for all stakeholders, helping us to build a best-in-class finance function.
Reporting directly into our Financial Controller, you’ll have the chance to improve how things are done rather than simply following existing processes, with plenty of variety along the way, one day you might be working on bank reconciliations, the next building out process automation or collaborating with brokers to resolve issues. As an insurtech, we’ll keep you close to the action, partnering with product, operations, and commercial teams to see first-hand how finance underpins the wider business. You’ll be part of a small, energetic team where your ideas and drive will make a visible impact, while sharpening your professional skills and gaining real opportunities for growth and development.
At Flock, we typically follow a hybrid working model involving a minimum of 3 days per week spent in the office, which is based in Central London, a few minutes walk from Moorgate and Liverpool Street.
Authenticity is important to us. We value the unique qualities and experiences you bring. So if you apply, just be your genuine self. It\'s who we want!
