Job summary

TalentEdge are working with a fast-growing energy business to recruit a Finance Analyst on an interim basis. The role supports forecasting, performance reporting and commercial decision-making within a dynamic team.

You will work with senior finance and operational stakeholders, developing financial models and delivering analyses across budgets, forecasts and longer-term plans in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of FP&A, finance, accounting, or related analytical role.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong PowerPoint capability.
• Interest in automation, AI-enabled working, and continuous improvement.
• Exposure to Power BI, Power Query, VBA, Python, SAP, or SAC would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the preparation of budgets, forecasts and longer term financial plans.
• Produce monthly performance reporting, including analysis of actuals against budget and forecast.
• Investigate key revenue, cost and margin variances and provide clear commentary.
• Build and maintain financial models to support forecasting and commercial decision-making.
• Supporting scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis around growth, costs and investment.
• Improve the quality and efficiency of financial reporting and analysis.

This is a hands on analytical role supporting forecasting, performance reporting and commercial decision-making across a growing and evolving business.
