Purpose of the Job

To support financial planning, reporting, and performance analysis for the UK & Ireland business, while assisting in selected M&A and investment projects when required.
The role plays a key part in improving financial visibility and supporting strategic decision-making through robust financial modelling, analysis, and reporting.

Principal Accountabilities

Financial Planning & Analysis (Main Focus)

  • Support the preparation of the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and monthly management reports.

  • Build and maintain detailed financial models to monitor business performance and key metrics.

  • Analyse variances between actual, budget, and forecast, highlighting risks and opportunities.

  • Provide financial insight and analysis to support strategic and operational decisions.

  • Prepare monthly P&L reviews, cash flow analysis, and management dashboards.

  • Collaborate with business units to track performance against targets and support improvement plans.

  • Assist in the preparation of financial presentations for senior management and the Board.

  • Ensure alignment with Group Finance reporting requirements and timelines.

M&A Support (Secondary Focus)

  • Support the financial assessment of potential acquisitions or partnerships in the UK & Ireland.

  • Assist with the preparation and review of financial models for target companies.

  • Participate in due diligence, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external advisors.

  • Contribute to post-acquisition performance tracking and integration support.
