This role is based in Camberley, Surrey. You must be able to commute to this location minimum 4 days per week

Main Responsibilities:

As a Finance Analyst, you will be responsible for various accounting and financial management tasks related to our Business Units in the UK and Ireland. In addition to daily responsibilities, you will also collaborate on strategic projects for the UK Business Unit and other international Business Units, such as acquisitions, budgeting processes, and financial statement consolidation.

Day-to-Day Work:

  • Assist in payroll processing and payment, including handling benefits administration and addressing team member queries related to payroll and benefits
  • Process VAT returns (for the UK and Ireland)
  • Support the audit process
  • Perform bank reconciliations
  • Manage the month-end process (for the UK & Ireland)
  • Serve as a resource for the team in resolving accounting issues
  • Review Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) aging with the administrative resources in Ireland and the UK

Project-Related Work:

  • Ensure the review and integrity of financial statements
  • Actively participate in the budgeting process, including data validation and consolidation of all Business Units, and prepare analytical documents for presentation to directors such as service & business center profitability
  • Collaborate in the preparation of tax and audit files
  • Perform the consolidation of financial statements, including validation of their integrity
  • Collaborate in adding financial analysis and business center profitability and business profitability
  • Participate in special projects and analyses in the accounting and finance fields
  • Offer continuous improvement suggestions related to work methods, procedures, tools, and business processes
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic planning.

Requirements:

  • University Degree
  • 3-5 years of experience in a relevant position
  • Willingness to travel within the UK and Ireland once a month and to Canada twice a year
  • Experience working with remote locations
  • Be interested in contributing at various levels within the organisation by performing hands-on tasks while demonstrating critical thinking and good judgement.
  • Serve as a reference point for UK fiscal regulations
