Our client is seeking an experienced Financial Advisor in Halifax to join their team and benefit from their employed package with bonuses on all new business written (plus other bonuses!), existing clients to take over servicing, additional leads, full suite of back office support, and a fully independent advice offering.

They are seeking Financial Advisors who enjoy building long-term relationships with clients and have a growth focus to identify and develop new business through new/existing clients. You will be given a healthy portfolio of existing clients with the aim to retain, service, and grow this further.

They have a wide range of clients, including Business Owners, Entrepreneurs, Professionals, Retail Clients, and some corporate clients.

The successful IFAs typically engage with professional introducers, regularly generate referrals, participate in company lead generation activities, work with corporate clients, and/or utilize social media resources. You should adopt some or all of these methods to increase your client portfolio.

Your focus should be on conducting in-depth reviews to understand clients' current and future financial goals and objectives. With the support of their back office team, you will formulate appropriate financial strategies, advising on pensions, savings, investments, and other financial needs.

An excellent remuneration package is provided to reward productivity.

This is a home-based role with remote working, including telephone/video interactions with clients. Meeting clients in person is encouraged to deepen relationships and develop referrals.

  • Hold full Level 4 Diploma in financial planning or equivalent
  • Have 5+ years of experience as a Financial Advisor (ideally with CAS status)
  • Proven track record of growing a client bank through proactive activities
  • Client-centric approach and dedication to doing the right thing for clients
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, approachability, professionalism, and good IT skills

The client provides comprehensive support to help Financial Advisors thrive, including end-to-end in-house support from admin and paraplanning teams, ongoing professional development, and an in-house marketing team with a consultative approach.

  • Salary of £50,000 - £75,000, depending on experience and qualifications
  • Potential for higher salary on a case-by-case basis
  • Remuneration includes car allowance, bonuses, mileage reimbursement, 6x DIS, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, birthday off, charitable work day, discounted financial advice, retailer discounts, MediCash, and remote GP access
  • Home-based role with travel to meet clients and use of regional offices
