Job summary

Grove Talent Solutions in Northamptonshire is seeking an experienced Financial Planner to inherit an established client bank and drive growth through referrals, delivering holistic financial planning and compliant advice.

You will work closely with the Financial Planning Director and a supportive paraplanning team to expand client relationships, focus on long-term objectives, and provide ongoing service excellence across pensions, investments, protection and IHT planning.

Qualifications

• Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning required
• Previous adviser experience within a financial planning or IFA environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Genuine passion for building long-term client relationships

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic financial planning and regulated advice across pensions, investments, protection, and IHT planning
• Conduct detailed fact-finding meetings, cashflow modelling, and suitability assessments
• Create and present tailored financial plans aligned with clients' objectives and risk profiles
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships through regular reviews and proactive communication
• Ensure all advice meets regulatory requirements and internal compliance standards
• Work closely with paraplanners to produce accurate research and suitability reports
• Stay up to date with legislative changes, market developments and industry best practice

The Role

Working closely with the Financial Planning Director, you will provide holistic financial planning advice tailored to clients' individual circumstances and long-term objectives.

The successful candidate will focus on nurturing and expanding client relationships while delivering exceptional ongoing service. Supported by an experienced paraplanning and administration team, you will be able to concentrate on advising clients rather than back-office responsibilities.
