The role offers a competitive £60,000-£80,000 basic salary, with a trusted client portfolio and strong admin and technology support to help you develop the business.

You'll take responsibility for an existing portfolio from day one, build relationships with clients and professional introducers, and pursue further growth with discretionary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an Independent Financial Adviser.
• Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of pensions, investments, protection and wealth management.
• Confidence managing an established client portfolio.
• Commercial and entrepreneurial approach to business development.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic, independent financial advice across investments, pensions, protection and estate planning.
• Conduct regular reviews and monitor client portfolios.
• Develop new business through professional introducers, networking and existing relationships.

I'm recruiting for a financial planning business in Colchester, offering £60-80k basic + benefits, with an existing portfolio to inherit and genuine scope for further business development.

5+ years' IFA experience + Level 4 required.

I'm particularly interested in speaking to experienced IFAs who aren't necessarily actively looking but would consider the right opportunity.

I'm recruiting for an established and growing financial planning business in Colchester that can offer something different:

An established client portfolio to inherit from day one.

This is an employed Financial Adviser position offering a competitive £60,000-£80,000 basic salary, depending on experience and qualifications, together with an established client bank and strong administrative and technology support.

Rather than spending years building a client book from scratch, you'll have the opportunity to take responsibility for an existing portfolio, develop those relationships and generate further new business.

What you'll be doing

You’ll provide holistic, independent financial advice covering:

• Investments & wealth management
• Pensions & retirement planning
• Protection
• Estate and financial planning
• Cashflow planning
• Regular client reviews

You’ll also have the opportunity to develop new business through professional introducers, networking and existing relationships.

I'm looking for an experienced IFA who:

• Has 5+ years' experience as an Independent Financial Adviser
• Holds Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent
• Has strong knowledge of pensions, investments, protection and wealth management
• Is confident managing an established client portfolio
• Has a commercial and entrepreneurial approach to business development
• Enjoys developing relationships with accountants, solicitors and other professional introducers
• Is confident working with private/HNW clients
• Maintains their SPS and CPD
