Location - Milton Keynes

Role - Financial Adviser

We are currently assisting a well-established Independent Financial Advisory in Milton Keynes to recruit their next Financial Adviser to expand their successful team.

They are looking for someone aiming to progress to Chartered status with a proven track record of providing financial advice.

The firm offers a client bank, back-office systems, and compliance support.

Responsibilities:
  1. Contact clients and set up meetings, either in-office or at clients' homes or businesses;
  2. Conduct in-depth reviews of clients' financial circumstances, current provisions, and future goals;
  3. Analyze information and prepare tailored financial plans;
  4. Ensure clients receive relevant documentation promptly;
  5. Prospect and contact potential clients in line with the firm’s business plan;
  6. Complete risk analyses;
  7. Collaborate with the technical team to research the marketplace and inform clients about products and services;
  8. Assist clients in making informed decisions;
  9. Review and adapt to clients' changing needs and financial situations;
  10. Meet or exceed commercial targets;
  11. Stay updated on new products, technical, or legislative changes;
  12. Comply with the firm’s Compliance and Training & Competence Schemes/Procedures;
  13. Adhere to the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000, FCA principles, rules, and codes of practice;
  14. Maintain high performance standards as per KPIs;
  15. Follow relevant advice and sales procedures;
  16. Keep abreast of regulatory, product, legislative, and technical updates;
  17. Conduct all client interactions professionally and courteously;
  18. Ensure client files are compliant and records are securely maintained according to policies;
  19. Gather sufficient client information before making recommendations;
  20. Undertake product and market research;
  21. Make suitable recommendations consistently;
  22. Maintain all supporting documents diligently.
