Ortus PSR Ltd. in Glasgow seeks an Experienced Financial Planner to advise a portfolio of 150–250 households on investments, pensions, protection and intergenerational planning, with interactive cashflow modelling.

Experienced Financial Planner, Glasgow.

Advise a portfolio of around 200 households on investments, pensions, protection and intergenerational planning, bringing plans to life with interactive cashflow modelling.

£60,000 to £80,000 basic salary, on-target earnings of £100,000+, plus car allowance.

This is a busy, client-focused advice business built on integrity, professionalism and continuous improvement. You will build long-term relationships with clients who have complex needs, backed by a centralised investment proposition and dedicated adviser support and paraplanning colleagues.

THE ROLE

• Provide regulated advice across investments, pensions, protection and intergenerational planning for a portfolio of circa 150 to 250 households
• Review clients’ circumstances, needs and objectives in depth, using cashflow modelling interactively to bring their plans to life
• Recommend suitable solutions using a centralised investment proposition
• Prepare and present clear, personalised financial plans and suitability reports
• Build strong relationships through engaging regular reviews and proactive communication
• Identify vulnerable clients and take extra care where needed
• Contribute to business growth by developing existing client relationships, identifying new opportunities and supporting marketing initiatives

• Report to a Financial Planning Manager, with the independence to manage your own portfolio

ABOUT YOU: ESSENTIAL

• Experience as an adviser, including dealing with clients with complex needs
• Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (CII, CISI or equivalent)
• Current Statement of Professional Standing (SPS)
• Demonstrable experience providing regulated financial advice
• Up-to-date CPD record

You will have strong technical knowledge of financial products, markets and FCA regulations, excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex information clearly. You manage your time well, thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities, and are comfortable with change and ongoing learning.

PACKAGE

• Basic salary of £60,000 to £80,000, depending on experience and qualifications
• On-target earnings of £100,000+
