We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Accounts Assistant to join our team Financial Accounting – NHS Golden Jubilee.

We are looking for a motivated person who has excellent Excel and IT skills, as well as knowledge of all Microsoft Packages. Good communication skills and experience of working in a finance environment – although this is not essential.

This is a support role within Finance, and consists of the following:

  1. To support the Financial Accountant, Assistant Financial Accountant and Financial Accounting Officers in the delivery of Accounts Payable, Receivable and Treasury objectives.
  2. Work as directed by the Assistant Financial Accountant to process Accounts Payable and Receivable invoices accurately and timeously, ensuring adherence to departmental timetables.
  3. Inputs and processes financial information, completing routine financial transactions in accordance with procedures to ensure continuity of supplies and services for the board.
  4. Work as directed to support completion of various projects.
