Financial Accounting and Advisory Services Manager

We are seeking a Financial Accounting and Advisory Services Manager to join RSM UK.

Our consulting team offers diverse advisory services across six core solutions: business transformation, forensic, deal services, restructuring, finance function support, and risk and governance. We aim to deliver data-driven insights, value-added assurance, and high-quality execution to help clients achieve their organizational goals and build sustainable businesses.

Role Overview

The Manager will support our Financial Accounting and Advisory Services team across various regions including Northeast, Northwest, Midlands, South, or London. Responsibilities include handling technical accounting, financial reporting, and business advisory projects.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Work on complex projects involving application of accounting standards such as FRS102, IFRS, and FRS101, including group reconstructions, GAAP conversions, and acquisition accounting.
  2. Develop expertise in financial reporting and serve as a trusted advisor to clients.
  3. Mentor and develop junior staff and contribute to business development efforts.
  4. Provide exceptional client service and maintain regular communication.

Candidate Requirements

  1. ACA qualified or equivalent.
  2. Experience in UK GAAP and IFRS financial reporting.
  3. Background in professional practice or providing written accounting advice to clients.
  4. Strong project management and organizational skills.
  5. Experience supervising and coaching junior staff.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
