Financial Accounting and Advisory Services Manager

We are seeking a Financial Accounting and Advisory Services Manager to join RSM UK in Manchester. Our consulting team offers expertise across six core solutions: business transformation, forensic, deal services, restructuring, finance function support, and risk and governance.

Our solutions address the unique needs and challenges of our clients, supporting global expansion, acquisition strategies, private equity investments, and risk management. We focus on simplicity, data-driven insights, and high-quality execution to empower clients in building sustainable businesses.

We are expanding our Financial Accounting and Advisory Services team and are looking for a Manager to support technical accounting, financial reporting, and business advisory projects across the UK regions, including Northeast, Northwest, Midlands, South, or London.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Handling technically challenging projects involving accounting standards such as FRS102, IFRS, and FRS101, including group reconstructions, GAAP conversions, and acquisition accounting support.
  • Developing expertise in financial reporting and advising clients on complex accounting issues.
  • Coaching and developing junior staff and contributing to business development.
  • Providing exceptional client service and maintaining communication as the main point of contact.

Candidate requirements:

  • ACA qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience with UK GAAP and IFRS financial reporting.
  • Background in professional practice or providing written accounting advice to clients.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Experience supervising and coaching junior staff.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
