Overview

As the Financial Accountant you will be responsible for delivering and supporting Treasury owned processes and activities, including bank accounts and Treasury systems administration, cash management, controls, audit support, and scheduled & ad-hoc reporting activities for the Skanska UK Business Unit (BU).

What you'll do

• Administration of all bank accounts within the UK business (circa 100), including operational access, online and paper mandates
• Ad-hoc bank KYC checks, opening and closing bank accounts
• Process & support with manual Payments where needed
• Partnering with our Group Treasury function, external Banks, JV Partner Treasury teams
• Post cash & support with cash posting in Oracle cash management
• Carry out the daily cash flow forecasting processes to Group Treasury ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Carry out the month Consolidated Bank Reconciliation Statement & FER
• Support the line manager in providing external auditors with bank reconciliations, statements, process walkthroughs, signatory information
• Support the development, implementation & maintenance of strong UK Treasury-related policies in line with group standards
• Support Treasury technology (ERP, Excel etc) and process improvement initiatives

• Finalist for professional accounting qualification

• Knowledge and experience of financial reporting tools (ERP and Excel), data management and analysis
• Knowledge and competence of Account reconciliation & validation, risk awareness, mitigation & critical thinking
