Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain effective management of the property's credit practices.
• Provide financial information and reporting to all divisions and departments as needed.
• Support financial transactions, including credit card payments, petty cash, payroll, income audit, and other financial requests.
• Compile weekly food and beverage cost control reports.
• Match bank statements to internal records to ensure accuracy, including handling Unmatched reports.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial accounts.
• Maintain a high standard of personal appearance, grooming, and hygiene, along with comprehensive knowledge of safety, security, and emergency procedures.
• Ensure clear and effective communication between departments to support smooth operations.
• Attend or conduct designated meetings and briefings as instructed.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the manager.

Qualifications

To succeed as a Financial Accountant, candidates should have the following qualifications, skills, and experience:

• Diploma or equivalent in Finance or Accounting, professional accounting certification, and at least 3 years of experience in a hotel accounting role or similar setting. Hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized hospitality school is preferred.
• Technical skills include advanced proficiency in MS Office and Outlook, familiarity with Materials Control (MC), operation of 10-key calculators, and experience with hotel systems such as POS, PMS, and CRM platforms.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are preferred.
