White Horse Employment is partnering with one of Oxfordshire's most well-known brands, supporting their search for a Financial Accountant. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in shaping reporting processes, driving efficiency, and supporting wider finance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead on Inventory Reporting, analysing existing processes, identifying improvements, and developing automated reporting solutions.
• Managing month-end responsibilities, including the calculation of inventory provisions, review of balance sheet reconciliations, and providing cover across the team.
• Conduct internal audits to streamline month-end procedures and accounting policies.
• Transition over time into a broader financial accounting role, owning the month-end close and ensuring technical accuracy across assigned business areas.

About You

• A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a few years’ post-qualification experience.
• Background in a manufacturing environment with knowledge of inventory accounting is crucial.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and proven experience improving financial processes.
• Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communicator with advanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI and D365 is an advantage.
