Job summary

W Talent is recruiting a suitably experienced Financial Accountant for an operational accounting remit with end-to-end month end in a manufacturing environment. The role is hybrid, with two days on-site near Cardiff.

Key duties include month end close, balance sheet reconciliations, journals, analytical reviews of P&L, fixed assets, VAT/tax, payroll, AP/AR oversight, and maintaining internal controls. IFRS compliance and process automation are part of the focus.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent.
• 3+ years of industry experience.
• Experience with manufacturing accounting is beneficial.
• Excellent operational accountancy skills.
• Process optimisation experience.

I am recruiting for a suitably experienced Financial Accountant with solid hands on experience within an Operational Accounting role with experience running end-to-end month end within the manufacturing industry.

This is a hybrid role, two days per week on-site near Cardiff.

Location: Near Cardiff - Hybrid - 2 days a week on-site

Operational Accounting responsibilities including:

• Perform analytical reviews of P&L and balance sheet performance.
• Fixes Assets
• VAT & Tax Accounting
• Payroll Accounting
• AP & AR oversight
• Internal Controls
• Work closely with Tax, Treasury and Group Reporting teams.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and Group accounting policies.
• Process improvement and automation, e.g. reducing month end from 8 days to 5 days.
