Hotel Financial Controller - West Sussex region
We are presently working with this client recruiting for a Hotel Financial Controller to join their team.
The hotel is part of an international group and boasts the following facilities: 150+ bedrooms, large F&B with 10 meeting rooms, and the largest with a capacity of 250 guests, as well as various other boardrooms catering for both large and smaller meetings.
The hotel restaurant is 120 covers and serves modern British food, and also features a main hotel bar and lounge area. Additionally, the hotel has a full leisure and spa, as well as an outdoor activities area for team building.
The role requires an individual to manage the finances of the hotel, with previous experience in the same market to gain a full understanding of how finances work effectively within a large hotel.
Ideally, the candidate will be fully qualified or QBE, and will work with the General Manager and Head Office function to ensure the hotel is working to achieve sales and revenue targets, and controlling costs within the agreed hotel budget.
The successful candidate will also work with a small team, managing and overseeing their duties day-to-day.
This is a key role, and the team is presently going through some transition, making it a great time to start with a new team and develop and deliver in your role.
