This Financial Accountant opportunity is a new role in our growing international accounting department, reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Accounting. This role will have a direct hand in crafting and developing the international finance function with scale and growth in mind.

This role will be based in Dublin in a hybrid working environment.

What you'll do at Figma
  • Perform month-end close activities including posting of journals and monthly flux analysis under US GAAP to tight deadlines.
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations for bank, prepaids, fixed assets, and other key balance sheet accounts for Figma's international entities.
  • Partner closely with the US accounting team to ensure alignment with accounting processes and controls.
  • Liaise with external auditors and support the statutory audit process.
  • Heavily involved in the statutory audit cycle by preparing local currency reconciliations, client schedules, and financial statements.
  • Support the rollout of international expansion projects and implementation of new accounting systems.
  • Support the development and refinement of day-to-day tasks and the implementation of new processes within the accounting organization.
  • Build strong business partnerships with key budget owners.
  • Support ad-hoc activities and projects as they arise.
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) preferred, with 1 year or less PQE.
  • Experience and understanding as an accountant in industry-like companies.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP.
  • Experience in statutory reporting processes.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
While not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:
  • Experience working in various accounting systems (NetSuite is a plus) as well as broader systems experience such as excellent MS Office skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams.
  • Self-starter and independent thinker with a desire to work in a fast-paced, scaling international organization.
  • Clear and fact-driven communication skills to keep stakeholders informed and working towards your end goals.
