Job summary

Arlington Resource Management seeks a stand‑alone Financial Accountant / Finance Manager / Financial Controller to oversee the low‑volume accounting for around 10 statutory entities / SPVs. You will work with Xero and Sage to manage monthly transactions, bank reconciliations and VAT returns, and produce monthly management accounts.

The role suits an experienced, stable accountant, either ACA/ACCA/CIMA/ACMA qualified or QBE, with exposure to multiple entities seen as a plus.

Qualifications

• Stand-alone role managing low-volume accounting for around 10 statutory entities / SPVs.
• Experience with multiple entities is useful.
• Property sector or practice experience is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain monthly bookkeeping and processing of payables and receivables.
• Run monthly bank reconciliations and prepare VAT returns.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules.
• Oversee intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
• Produce monthly management accounts for owners/external accountant.
• Prepare year‑end files and information for auditors.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis and modelling as required.
