Job description

As Financial Accountant you will be responsible for the preparation of the statutory accounts and intercompany reporting. This is a 6 month Fixed Term Contract and requires someone available to start immediately / at short notice.

Description

Monthly & Annual Reporting

• Prepare statutory accounts for both active and dormant entities.
• Manage intercompany reporting and hedge accounting, liaising with the US Treasury team.
• Support group consolidation and foreign subsidiary reporting.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards (UK GAAP, US GAAP, IFRS).
• Assist with audit processes and liaise with auditors to ensure timely responses.

Technical & Project Support

• Provide technical accounting guidance to UK and international teams.
• Support internal audit resolution and company secretarial duties.
• Contribute to acquisition/divestiture accounting and ad hoc financial projects.

Profile

Qualifications:

• Ideally ACA / ACCA Qualified although CIMA Qualified Candidates with the relevant experience will be considered

Skills & Experience:

• Experience of intercompany accounting and internal controls is a prerequisite
• Experience within a large multinational organisation would be advantageous
• Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, US GAAP, and IFRS.
• Experience with Caseware and JDE would be advantageous.
• Advanced Excel skills

You should be available to start this role either immediately or at short notice and commit to the 6 month tenure.

Job Offer

Up to £65,000 dependent on experience

25 days holiday + Bank Holidays

Hybrid working - 2 days in the office in Mid-Kent and 3 days from home
