What you'll do

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Accountant to support the delivery of accurate financial reporting, compliance, and control across the business. This role is responsible for preparing individual entity and consolidated financial accounts, supporting external audits, and maintaining robust internal controls. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical accounting knowledge and have experience of complex group structures. As a key member of the finance team, you will liaise with both external and internal stakeholders, ensuring financial integrity while contributing to continuous process improvement initiatives.

What we are looking for

We are looking for someone who can bring the right skills and mindset to the role. You might not meet all the criteria, and that's okay, transferable skills and experience are highly valued.

  • ACA or ACCA qualified
  • Audit trained/practice background - Top 15
  • Strong technical accounting skills including consolidations
  • IT literate, ideally with some experience of accounting packages and advanced Excel skills
  • Highly organised and motivated to provide quality outputs in a deadline driven role
  • Desire to challenge and deliver improvements to existing financial systems and processes
  • Proactive mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Ability to work independently whilst maintaining a strong team ethic
  • Excellent inter-personal and stakeholder management skills
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to enhance technical knowledge
