We're delighted to be partnering with one of the UK's most respected and long-established brands, operating successfully for over five decades, to recruit a talented Financial Accountant to join their Group Finance team in Warrington.

Role Overview:

As a key member of the Group Finance function, you'll provide high-quality financial reporting, analysis, and support across the business. Working closely with senior stakeholders, divisional finance teams, and auditors, you'll ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and performance enhancement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare statutory accounts and support annual/interim financial statements.
  • Assist with Corporation Tax calculations and liaise with external advisors.
  • Implement new IFRS accounting standards across the group.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of financial and non-financial data, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Deliver KPI reporting, variance analysis, and cost efficiency insights.
  • Contribute to audit processes and financial control procedures.
  • Support M&A activity and other strategic finance projects

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified ACA, ACCA accountant
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, statutory reporting, and technical accounting issues
  • Excellent analytical and Excel skills; highly IT literate
  • Experience with Corporation Tax is desirable.
  • Confident communicator, capable of influencing across all levels.
  • Adaptable, hands-on, and team-oriented mindset
