Description

Due to ongoing staff development, my client is looking to appoint a Qualified (ACA/ACCA) Financial Accountant.

The Financial Accountant will report to the Financial Director and will provide financial accounting services to the company's numerous legal entities, ensuring that internal and externally reported financial information is timely, accurate, and meets stakeholder needs.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing the annual statutory accounts for all entities in scope, acting as a key contact for the annual audit process, and ensuring key deadlines are met.
• Preparing monthly input files for Hyperion financial management for all entities in scope.
• Producing annual tax packs, responding to queries to ensure accuracy and completeness, and enabling timely submission of tax returns and payments.
• Preparing 13-week cash flow forecasts for all relevant legal entities, explaining variances week-on-week, and reconciling cash to the top-down management accounts forecast.
• Collecting and reporting information for UK insurance declarations, meeting deadlines set by insurance brokers, and coordinating the monthly Intrastat process.
• Consolidating group balances for all relevant entities in accordance with group guidelines and ensuring financial adjustments are properly reflected.
