REED Finance are looking for an experienced Financial Accountant to join a high-performance organisation based in West Oxfordshire. This perm role offers a vibrant working environment and ample room to grow, andopportunity to contribute to a dynamic and evolving finance function within a fast-paced environment.

You will play a key role with general financial accounting duties, with a strong focus on inventory accounting, month-end close, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the month-end close process for assigned business areas, ensuring timely and accurate journal entries and reconciliations
  • Lead on inventory accounting and support other smaller business areas
  • Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts, resolving discrepancies and improving audit readiness
  • Collaborate on ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics) development to enhance automation and accuracy

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Strong experience in inventory accounting, ideally within a manufacturing environment
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial controls
  • Proven ability to improve financial processes and systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Proficient in Excel; experience with Power BI and Microsoft Dynamics 365 is advantageous
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
