Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Accountant to join a leading organization in the Cayman Islands. This role involves supporting the finance team with financial reporting, accounts management, and audit coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Payable & Receivable processes
• Perform daily bank reconciliations
• Prepare and review invoices for sales, purchases, and metals
• Assist in VAT and other tax-related activities
• Conduct monthly and quarterly financial reconciliations
• Support the preparation of financial statements and reports for senior management and stakeholders
• Maintain internal controls and ensure SOX compliance
• Collaborate with auditors during audits
• Contribute to special projects as needed

Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, with 1-2 years of post-qualification experience
• Experience working in a public company environment preferred
• Knowledge of internal controls, SOX, and financial reporting
• Strong work ethic, exceptional attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork capability
