Job Title: Financial Accountant
Location: Swindon, UK (Hybrid)
Salary: Between 42-47k (dependent on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and analyse financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
2. Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
3. Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance.
4. Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
5. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and liaise with external auditors.
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
7. Support the implementation of financial systems and process improvements.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial guidance and support.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) preferred.
3. Proven experience as a Financial Accountant or similar role.
4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
5. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
