Job Description
- As the Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for:
- Prepare accurate financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
- Ensure timely reporting of financial data to internal and external stakeholders.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations.
- Monitor and improve financial controls and processes.
- Collaborate with auditors to facilitate audits and ensure compliance.
- Analyse financial data to assist in decision-making and forecasting.
- Maintain compliance with tax regulations and oversee VAT submissions.
- Provide support to the wider Accounting & Finance team as required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
- A recognised qualification or part-qualification in accounting (e.g. ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive attitude with a commitment to maintaining high standards.
