Job description

Atkinson Moss is delighted to be working closely with a forward-thinking organisation who are looking to appoint a permanent Financial Accountant. Responsible for all internal and external reporting which will include monthly Management accounts, Financial controls, balance sheet reconciliations, external Audit and company statutory accounts.

As a Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with internal controls, and supporting strategic decision-making. Working closely with the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for:

1. Preparing monthly management accounts, budgets, and forecasts
2. Supporting audit and tax management processes
3. Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal controls
4. Managing treasury and cash flow forecasting
5. Assisting with statutory accounts and external reporting

The ideal candidate will be fully qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or Part qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) with proven experience of displaying strong technical acumen and exemplary communication skills.
