The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, managing audits, and supporting ongoing financial planning and compliance processes. This is a long-term interim position and is suitable for candidates who are fully qualified within their professional qualifications, with at least 2 years' experience within a financial accounting or reporting role.

About you

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
  • At least 2 years' recent experience in a financial accounting or reporting role
  • Strong background in preparing financial statements, managing reconciliations, and supporting audits
  • Experience working with finance systems and Microsoft Excel
  • Comfortable managing people or leading a small team
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Access to transport to travel to multiple sites if needed

  • Lead on the preparation of financial statements and support external audit requirements
  • Manage cash flow forecasting, reporting schedules, and compliance returns
  • Oversee or support areas such as fixed assets, reconciliations, and VAT
  • Identify opportunities to streamline finance processes and controls
