Financial Accountant

Office Based, commutable from Stockport, Congleton, Buxton, Knutsford, Macclesfield, Manchester and surrounding areas.

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 + Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm (35hrs) + Training + Company Pension (up to 10%) + Free Parking + Company Benefits (Life Assurance, Sick Pay, Free Refreshments) + 25 Days Holiday.

The day-to-day responsibilities for this role will be to provide key support to the Head of the Finance team and work alongside internal/external suppliers and customers. The successful candidate will be tasked with a broad scope of responsibilities such as purchase ledgers, payroll, accounts, etc. You will also manage and be responsible for the planning process and monitoring of business performance to ensure that it is in line with the company goals.

THE ROLE:

1. Provide budgeting process including detailed business plans, forecasts, and reporting.
2. Improve financial processes in line with company expansion.
3. Work closely with suppliers and customers.

THE PERSON:

1. Accountancy qualification - AAT/ACA/ACCA.
2. Hyperion/Oracle/EPM, Power BI or similar software experience.
3. Previous experience as a Financial Accountant/Assistant/Controller or Analyst.
