About the Role

As a Financial Accountant, you will collaborate closely with the Group Finance team to ensure efficient financial operations and accurate reporting. Your responsibilities will encompass managing transactions, maintaining the Group balance sheet and P&L, and delivering timely and precise month-end financial reports to internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Process journal entries and manage month-end closings.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, P&L, and reporting packs.
• Implement robust financial control frameworks.
• Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts and year-end audits, liaising with external auditors.
• Oversee submissions from external third-party accounting providers.
• Support system maintenance and enhancements for Sage X3, including developing new financial processes.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A strong academic background with a degree in a relevant field.
• ACA qualification or near completion of final exams.
• Previous experience as a Financial Accountant preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of IFRS and financial controllership.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A proactive problem-solver who thrives on new challenges.
