Job description

We are partnering with a global leading financial services firm in their search for a Financial Accountant. This is a 6-month temporary role based in Canary Wharf offering hybrid working, and paying up to £300 per day via umbrella for the right candidate.

As the Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for:

1. Processing contracts for one or more product lines and ensuring that fees are invoiced in a timely manner.
2. Liaising between different internal stakeholders to ensure customer arrangements and fees are recorded and invoiced accurately and promptly.
3. Performing month-end revenue posting and handling revenue-related queries within the finance department.
4. Creating and running reports from sources including SAP, EPM10, AO.
5. Investigating revenue variances and submitting reports to finance managers for approval.
6. Reviewing and approving reports as part of SOX controls.

The ideal candidate will have:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification (QBE candidates will also be considered).
• Experience with month-end reporting, report running, and SOX controls.
• Experience with SAP is desirable but not essential.
• Experience working within a financial services environment is a plus.
