Job summary

A leading global investment firm in London is seeking a Financial Accountant for a 12-month contract. The role involves preparing monthly financial packages, performing variance analysis, and presenting findings to senior management. Applicants should have ACA/ACCA qualifications and at least 2 years of post-qualification experience in a similar role, preferably within Financial Services, with strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years PQE in a financial accounting role.
• Experience with month-end close and preparation of financial statements.

Financial Accountant - 12 months - Global FS Institution

We've recently partnered with a global Alternative Investment firm who have an exciting opportunity to join their Financial Control team on a 12 month basis. Focusing on the corporate side of the business, you will be given fantastic exposure to senior management, with the opportunity to take on a lot of responsibility quite rapidly.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly close packages
• Substantiating the GL accounts, completing variance analysis and communicating results
• Monthly financial analysis and presenting to senior management
• Ad-hoc project work

Your background:

• ACA/ACCA qualified, 2+ years PQE
• Experience in a similar role, ideally within Financial Services
• Experience with month end close, preparation of financial statements - confident with excel and complex formulas
• Ambitious self-starter, comfortable working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
