We are delighted to support a fantastic organisation in their search for a Financial Accountant. The organisation is looking for someone who is experienced in dealing with financial accounting and has experience using the system Sage50.
Job responsibilities
Ensuring the maintenance and documentation of comprehensive financial systems and processes to guarantee accuracy and adherence to financial regulations.
Supporting the preparation and reporting of monthly and quarterly management accounts, including variance analysis and explanatory reports.
Compiling audit files and handling daily inquiries from external auditors throughout the annual audit process.
Managing and supervising the monthly payroll process, ensuring all payments are accurate and fully compliant with relevant tax laws, pension schemes, and employment regulations.
Guaranteeing the timely and precise submission of payroll-related obligations, including PAYE, National Insurance, pension contributions, and any other statutory or voluntary deductions.
Overseeing and assisting the Finance Assistant with daily bookkeeping activities, including managing accounts payable and receivable, as well as performing account reconciliations.

Qualified accountant or qualified by experience
Experience using the system Sage50
