Financial Accountant – Hybrid | Camden, London

An award-winning global gaming & gambling business is seeking a dynamic and detail-driven Financial Accountant to join its growing UK-based finance team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an internationally recognised, NYSE-listed company with a reputation for innovation, growth, and high-profile work across Europe. You’ll join a friendly, agile team of six finance professionals and play a critical role in financial reporting and compliance across the UK and wider European markets.

Location: Camden, London (4 days in-office, Fridays from home)

Contract: Full-time, permanent

What you’ll be doing:

  • Taking ownership of month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes
  • Preparing VAT and tax calculations and ensuring compliance with IFRS and relevant regulations
  • Collaborating across departments and with external auditors during audit periods
  • Providing insight through financial data analysis, reporting and trend identification
  • Supporting the Finance Manager with ad-hoc projects and continuous improvement initiatives

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong experience in a Financial Accountant role, ideally within a corporate or regulated environment
  • An audit background is required
  • A finance qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent – part-qualified considered)
  • Deep understanding of IFRS, financial policies and controls
  • Strong Excel and ERP experience (e.g. NAV, Cognos)
  • Excellent communication skills – this is a people-facing role, with plenty of cross-team collaboration
  • A friendly, pragmatic and solution-oriented approach – someone who brings clarity, not complexity

This is more than a finance role. It’s an opportunity to join a forward-thinking business going through a period of exciting transformation and expansion. You’ll be trusted with responsibility, encouraged to bring ideas to the table, and supported to grow professionally in a people-first culture that genuinely values collaboration.
