Job description

CMC Consulting are excited to be partnered with a high-end luxury brand with their search for a newly qualified ACA. Joining during a period of growth, this is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified Big 4 ACA to take their first step into industry, where you will focus on streamlining financial processes and developing robust control frameworks with opportunities to progress into a Finance Manager.

Duties include:

• Ownership of the monthly financial reporting, performing monthly close activities to ensure compliance with UK accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare, analyse and present accurate financial statements including balance sheet reconciliations.
• Be the main point of contact for external auditors for all audit queries, with ownership of the audit process.
• Oversight of the transactional accounting process, ensuring a smooth running of the finance function.
• Assisting the line manager with ad-hoc duties and year-end processes.

You will be a newly / recently qualified Big 4 ACA. Due to the nature of this role, you will be a confident communicator with strong communication skills as you will be managing stakeholders and translating financial language to non-finance members.
