My client is a leading consumer goods/FMCG business based in Leeds.
The Financial Accountant will be responsible for:
- Monthly and Quarterly Management Account preparation
- Cash Flow and Capex Reporting
- Presenting financial information to a range of stakeholders
- Preparation of Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliation reviews and challenging teams on accounting treatment
- Work effectively using financial systems such as Oracle
- Working closely with external auditors to provide detailed and sufficient information in a timely manner
- Providing guidance, support and challenge around commercial decisions
- Budgeting & Forecasting
- Act as key contact for wider finance related queries
- Provide commentary around performance, ensuring action plans and proposals are backed by data
- Business case development and sign off support
- P&L reviews
- Aged debt management
This Financial Accountant role would ideally suit candidates recently qualified from practice or industry.
- Professional finance qualification: ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- Experience within the consumer goods/retail/FMCG/manufacturing industry ideal
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage at all levels of a business
