Job summary

TalentEdge are working with a privately-owned, growing advertising agency to hire a Financial Accountant on a temporary basis. This hands-on role centers on year-end, statutory reporting and audit support, with a flexible hybrid working pattern.

You should be ideally trained within a Big 4 or Top 10 practice, with 1–2 years of industry experience. Previous exposure to advertising or high-growth environments is advantageous, and immediate or short-notice availability is welcomed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Key support with the annual audit process; collaborating with external auditors to provide necessary documentation and explanation.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances in preparation for audit review.
• Lead the completion of Group consolidated and UK statutory financial statements in accordance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Supporting the year-end and month-end close, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
• Preparing technical accounting and policy papers on complex matters under IFRS and UK GAAP.
