Job description

Are you a detail-oriented, certified accountant with a passion for financial accuracy and process improvement? Join our dynamic team in Mexico City as aFinancial Accountantand play a key role in supporting both local and global finance operations.

About the Role -

As a Financial Accountant, reporting to the Finance Manager LATAM and Operations Manager, Mexico you will be the vital link between our local operations and HQ finance teams. You’ll coordinate with third-party accountants, prepare insightful financial reports, and ensure compliance with local and international regulations. This is a hands-on role that requires strong analytical skills, a proactive mindset, and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities -

  • Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations and financial reports for local and HQ teams.
  • Maintain strong communication with third-party advisors to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Monitor profitability across business areas including generator sales, parts, and service contracts.
  • Support tax compliance and statutory filings in collaboration with the Operations Manager.
  • Manage local financial transactions, expense systems, and invoice processing.
  • Reconcile banking records monthly and support the transition of accounting systems.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial operations.
  • Assist with local finance legal reporting requirements.

What we’re looking for -

  • Certified accountant with solid experience in core accounting functions.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting systems and principles.
  • Excellent Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Highly organized with strong communication and time management skills.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
  • Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
  • Customer-focused and solutions-oriented.
