About the Job
As Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality financial reporting, with a particular focus on inventory. Working closely with the wider finance team and operational stakeholders, you will support the business in embedding process improvements and enhancing financial controls. This is a broad and visible role ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, high-performance setting.
Duties will include:
Leading the month-end close for designated areas, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of journals and reconciliations
Managing balance sheet accounts and resolving outstanding items to improve audit readiness
Reviewing contracts and preparing technical accounting documentation where necessary
Supporting statutory and cost cap audit processes
Assisting with ERP system development (Microsoft Dynamics), helping to increase automation and accuracy
Contributing to finance transformation projects aimed at streamlining reporting and enhancing controls
About the Successful Applicant
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with a strong grasp of accounting principles and a proactive approach to improving processes. Strong Excel skills are essential, and experience with PowerBI and Microsoft Dynamics 365 is highly desirable. You'll bring a collaborative mindset, attention to detail, and confidence in working across departments to deliver high-quality results.
