Job summary

Essity is seeking a Financial Accountant on a 15-month maternity cover based at either Willerby or Dunstable. This hybrid role requires 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.

You will own the end-to-end General Ledger process, deliver accurate financial statements and reconciliations, and ensure IFRS compliance and strong internal controls. Qualifications

• Experienced accountant with proven General Ledger experience.
• Confident with SAP ECC/S/4HANA and Excel (Office 365).
• Knowledgeable in IFRS and audit processes.
• Detail-focused, analytical and solutions-oriented.
• AC A/ACCA accreditation or part-qualified status; cross-cultural experience.

Who You Are

• An experienced accountant with proven General Ledger experience
• Confident working with SAP (ECC/S/4) and Office 365, particularly Microsoft Excel
• Knowledgeable in IFRS and audit processes
• Detail-focused, analytical and solutions-orientated
• Ability to prioritise, multitask and deliver to tight deadlines
• A collaborative team player with strong communication skills
• A role model for integrity, compliance and business ethics
• Passionate about continuous improvement and developing others
• A professionally qualified accountant with an ACA or ACCA accreditation; or part-qualified accountant
• Previous experience gained in a cross-cultural matrix organisation
