Job summary

Sharp Consultancy seeks a Financial Accountant for a 12 month fixed term contract in the UK. The role combines financial reporting with business partnering across non-finance operations.

Key responsibilities include statutory accounts prep, month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, audits, forecasting and budgeting. ACA/ACCA/CIMA-qualified candidates with strong technical accounting are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent).
• Experience in statutory accounts preparation and balance sheet controls.
• Strong skills in month-end close and audits.

Financial Accountant

12 Month Fixed Term Contract

£50,000 - £55,000

This opportunity, suited to a qualified finance professional, requires an equal mix of financial reporting and business partnering with non-finance operations.

You will be delivering accurate and timely financial reporting and maintaining balance sheet controls, whilst providing financial insight to support informed decision-making and improved business performance.

• Support the financial accounting team as required

We are looking for a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong technical accounting background, with the attributes to work collaboratively with decision makers across the business.
