Job description

I am currently partnering with a listed technology company looking for a Financial Accountant. This role will work closely with the Senior Finance Manager who has has progressed and grown with the company and started in a similar position.

The role sits within the UK function and you will gain exposure across the business working with various departments adhering to IFRS standards. You will be comfortable working in a large team and enjoy working closely with senior leaders across the business to influence business decisions.

Some of your responsibilities will include;

  • Become the go to person around IFRS standards within the company providing technical support, to the shared service centre and more junior colleagues.
  • Collaborate on diverse finance projects and activities, including M&A. You will provide technical accounting expertise for certain M&A projects.
  • Support system implementation and help influence the outcome.
  • Adherence to and improve the internal controls across the business.
  • Assisting with audit requests and be comfortable working with the auditors.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams and work with senior stakeholders across the business.
  • Be comfortable working on ad-hoc tasks from the CFO and other senior leaders.

You will require key in-depth knowledge of IFRS for this position and be ACA or similar from practice. You will have worked on large and listed organisations or you are currently working for another large complex company to be considered.

This role is paying between £65,000 – £75,000 + bonus and excellent benefits, this role follows a hybrid model where you will need to go into the office 2/3 days per week.
