Overview

Job Title: Financial Accountant (Qualified)

Location: Chesterfield, Derbyshire

Hybrid Working: 2-3 days per week in the Chesterfield office

Requirements

A Must: Candidates must be fully qualified (ACCA, ICAEW, CIMA) with a minimum of 1-2 years post-qualification experience. We are looking for someone with experience of preparing financial statements for group companies, ideally with a B2B SaaS background.

Responsibilities

• E2E ownership of the P&L, balance sheet, budget & forecasting activities.
• Preparation of month end for both the profit and loss account and balance sheet.
• Commercial price changes and all associated activity.
• Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable.
• Full ownership of month end tasks from preparation through to posting journals and reconciliations.
• Production of financial statements and applications.
• Preparation of spreadsheets, reports and correspondence as required.
• Support the year end audit process.
• Preparation of month end packs.
• Balance sheet reconciliations.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified ACCA, ICAEW, CIMA
• 1-2 years post-qualification experience, including P&Ls, balance sheet reconciliations, journals, accruals, prepayments and depreciation
• Preparation of financial statements for group companies
• Excellent understanding of double-entry bookkeeping
• A good understanding of end-to-end financial processes and controls
• Excellent communication & relationship management skills
