Kenton Black Limited is recruiting a Financial Accountant in Carlisle. This is an ideal move for a first-time mover from practice or an ACA/ACCA qualified accountant seeking a technically challenging, commercially aware role with stakeholder interaction.

You will prepare annual financial statements, coordinate the statutory audit, and maintain robust controls while supporting budgeting, forecasting and tax compliance.

Qualifikationen

• Technically strong ACA/ACCA qualified accountant with ability to drive change.
• Preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
• Lead coordination of statutory audit and be the primary contact for auditors.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and tax compliance including VAT and corporate tax.
• Mentor junior staff and promote continuous improvement of finance processes.
• Strong communication and business partnering skills across internal and external stakeholders.

A new Financial Accountant position has become available within a well-established business in Carlisle. This is an ideal opportunity for a 1st time mover from Accountancy Practice, or for an experienced ACA/ACCA qualified accountant with industry experience, seeking a technical and value adding position which also provides commercial/strategic support with plenty of stakeholder interaction.

Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:

To be considered, you will be a technically strong full or part ACA/ACCA qualified accountant with the ability to drive and challenge through change, demonstrating examples of implementing process improvements. Strong communication and business partnering skills are required with the ability to build relationships across a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
